Our Facilities
Details of the equipment and facilities here at the Northern School of SoundOur brand new acoustically treated teaching facility boasts five intel iMacs and a 42' teaching screen.
Small class sizes (five delegates maximum) and experienced trainers ensure that our courses are always student focused.
Northern School of Sound is an excellent venue for high level staff training - our resource rooms are accessible and well-equipped. We also have a large, well appointed studio space which is perfect for software demonstrations. The school has convenient parking and is easy to reach from Newcastle.
We're proud of our studio! Designed by DACS, it's small but perfectly formed. We have ISDN connectivity which allows us to provide professional voice-over facilities, and an array of great gear for any recording application.
Our building is wired for sound and visuals - so that we can record everything from large ensembles in our studio space to soloists in the live room - with plenty of communication between performer and engineer, whatever the setup.
